Seamless updates
Background tasks now pause during a MecAgent update and pick up where they left off. If an update interrupts a chat answer, you get a clear message and that turn is not charged.
Downloadable files in chat
Files the agent creates now show up as working download links in the chat, and folder links open correctly.

Better compatibility with older SolidWorks versions, plus stability and performance improvements.

Self-healing SolidWorks connection
The connection to SolidWorks now recovers on its own when SolidWorks is restarted, crashes or is busy, and leftover SolidWorks processes no longer get in the way. Click the connection status in the top bar to see which SolidWorks you're connected to, or pick one when several are open.
Clearer agent modes
The mode selector now tells you what each mode is best for and how fast it uses your allowance.
Bug fixes
MecAgent now works on company networks that use their own security certificates, downloads no longer hang silently when the Save window is hidden, and the chat shows the agent's activity more clearly.
Projected usage
See how much your running tasks will use before they finish, so you can easily keep track of your usage.

When the AI hits a temporary issue, you now get a clear message instead of a cryptic failure.
Connection status
The SolidWorks connection status always stays visible in the top bar, with a red breathing indicator when disconnected.
Desktop notifications
Get a Windows notification when the agent finishes, a background task is done, or the agent is waiting for you. Keep working in SolidWorks and come back when it matters.
Refreshed interface
Cleaner chat, tasks, CAD-to-Drawing, knowledge and automation pages with consistent headers and status labels. The whole app is now fully translated in 26 languages.

Your extra credits stay yours
Credits you purchased or received on top of your monthly allowance are no longer lost when your plan renews. Your balance is now only topped back up to your monthly limit when it has dropped below it.

AI drawing generation (beta)
The drawing generator is now smarter and more capable: it processes bulk operations across multiple files, making it much more efficient for generating drawings at scale. It works particularly well with basic parts and sheet metal parts.
