Company: MecAgent is a startup building an AI CAD copilot for mechanical engineers. Job Description: Join as a core technical founder-level contributor and help build the first truly useful AI Copilot for mechanical engineers. You will design, train, and deploy advanced machine learning systems that deeply integrate with professional CAD software. This is not just applied AI, this is building a new category at the intersection of mechanical engineering and artificial intelligence. What You’ll Do: . Design and train domain-specific AI models for CAD, mechanical reasoning, and geometry generation . Work on model fine-tuning, evaluation pipelines, and data strategy . Build production-grade ML systems that integrate with real CAD APIs . Contribute to the architecture of our AI stack from embeddings to tool orchestration . Turn research ideas into scalable product features . Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers to bridge AI and real-world workflows . Help define the long-term AI roadmap of the company For the past 5 months: . Launched a new company . Secured funding ($3M) and traction (10k users and interest from companies like Ford, Audi, . Change the world of CAD (Computer Aided Design) . Create the first AI Copilot for mechanical Engineers that is actually useful You’re the right person if you can answer most of those questions by yes: . Know how to modify existing or create models architectures, train/finetune them . Master Python and the ecosystem of AI libraries around it . Know CAD and have a strong opinion on how to achieve part generation . You know that joining a startup at this stage means high risks, high rewards . Can speak English fluently .
